We found ourselves with a free weekend before school started up, so I took the kids and a couple of their friends out to the mountains to celebrate Ava's birthday.

| Started the day with horseback riding. |

| Played in the pond at the house during lunch time. |

| Took and afternoon hike to Upper Falls and found a cool sliding rock. |

| Ended the day with birthday cake! Happy 9th Birthday A-V-A! |
