Day 40: In love

During her time in Ohio, Ava was admiring Katie's American Girl dolls.  Katie promised to send her home with one, but forgot in all the chaos of packing up and flying home.  Ava was in tears when she got back to North Carolina because Katie didn't send a doll with her.  So, Ava wrote what looked like a ransom letter crafted out of letter stickers to Katie begging for a doll.  Aunt Katie sent not just one but three of her American Girl Dolls and books to Ava.  Plus clothes and shoes.  Ava is over the moon with the gift. She has been feeding them, brushing their hair, changing their outfits, and putting them to bed. She says she has been waiting her whole life for these dolls.

Ava...cut your hair.
Katie, if you read this, know that this won't just be a fad. Ava has been doing this for easily 2 years now with other dolls. This won't stop anytime soon.
