Day 17: What the?

Just as we were getting ready to go over to a friend's house for a BBQ and swimming, a storm rolled in bringing hail and lots of rain.  We still got in our BBQ and swim, just in reverse order.  Plus with a week of 100+ degree temps, having some ice cubes added to the pool was refreshing.

Update: The Monday paper said we got 2-3" of rain in 90 minutes, and some areas reported golf ball sized hail and bigger.

P.S. Don't you hate when you blow all the pine needles off the deck one day only to have a storm drop a whole bunch more back on it the next?
